Team Calendar

The problem

Teams need one shared place to create, view and manage events, and it should run the same way on every machine.

Approach

• React front end with calendar, login and modal components, talking to an event service over a REST API.
• Node.js and Express back end with MongoDB through Mongoose.
• Docker Compose runs the client, server and database together with one command.
• ngrok support exposes the back end for remote access and testing.

Results

• Three-container setup that starts with a single docker-compose command.
• Works with or without Docker, and the repo documents both setups.
